On April 1, accompanied by three staff from the South Africa headquarters of HBIS , our Party of six drove more than 300 kilometers to the palabora copper for on-the-spot investigation. The whole beneficiation process is as follows: coarse crushing → semi autogenous grinding → first stage ball milling → second stage rod milling → flotation → thickener, 2 sets of semi autogenous mill specifications Φ 29.54 ft × 98.. 43 feet, 6 ball mills, 6 rod mills Φ 11.81 ft × This time, we focus on the information and working conditions of the lining plates of the semi autogenous mill, ball mill and rod mill. The cylinder lining plate and part of the inlet and outlet lining plates of the semi autogenous mill are made of rubber, and the outlet lattice lining plate, the inlet outer end lining plate and the outlet inner end lining plate are made of CrMo; The lining plate of ball mill and rod mill is made of high chromium material, and the supplier is Marko company of Belgium. The liner of mactor mill works well. We should measure the liner regularly and issue service report, which is worth learning. In the next three days, accompanied by David and Miss Huang, we visited the mineral laboratory, operation control center, spare parts warehouse and other related links, and communicated with relevant persons in charge to collect and sort out relevant data. We plan to still use CrMo and high chromium materials, and the shape of mill liner follows the design of Marko, and the casting and heat treatment manufacturing process is improved to ensure the use effect of liner. During the 4-day investigation, investigation and exchange, we sorted out a set of completed data and formed a preliminary plan for mill liner. After returning home, we further analyzed and studied to determine the formal liner manufacturing plan. After that, we were invited to visit the family of tobeka Madiba, an employee of palabora mining. This is a typical indigenous family in South Africa.
