Girth Gear Finite Element Analysis
When we design the girth gear structure, the finite element analysis is used to check the rationality of the rim structure and evaluate the deflection of the girth gear and pinion. Finite element analysis and correction are required for both girth gear and pinion. In the process of finite element analysis, the supporting action of the cylinder during the actual running of the mill need to be take into account about the load. The reasonable structure of the girth gear is determined according to the result of the finite element analysis and the pinion is modified according to the contact stress of the girth gear and pinion.
